My name is Brian Lamberts. I am the sole owner of Lamberts Fiber Optic Consulting LLC. I am a husband and father to three amazing children. In my spare time I can be found in the garden, playing soccer, enjoying live music, fishing, watching any in-season sport or entertaining my household. Like most college graduates, I pursued a degree in a field I have never worked in, Criminal Justice. I wanted to work as a latent fingerprint technician or a crime scene technician. I began my telecom career not long after high school, literally from the ground and worked my way up. My first telecom position was for a subcontractor as an underground technician; digging, building, connecting, and repairing conduit to protect twisted pair, coax and fiber optics cable we installed in new and joint trenches. From there, I was promoted to an install repair technician, for a large provider. I eventually ended up working for that provider as an install tech for a few years. Then, I worked for a subcontractor where I started as an install tech, installing twisted pair, coax and fiber optic cables inside of MDUs. Eventually, I ended up cross training to a fiber splicer and foreman, where I ran and managed several splicing crews, as well as, underground and aerial crews. I supervised the outside plant as a whole, really. Here is when my fiber knowledge, analysis and KMZ skills were first put to the test. After taking a few years off from the telecom field I came back to what I know best, for a  medium sized provider, in the inside plant part of the fiber world. This allowed me to use what I had learned in the past telecom experiences plus adding many new levels to provide me with what I know now.  Although almost twenty years ago I imagined a different path for my career, telecom is where I feel confident. It is in this field that I shine. I look forward to my next 20 years being able to provide my excellent and knowledgeable experience to make your company shine as well.
